I'm just a weekend warrior for the most part. Inside the truck I always have a small 50 piece socket set, screwdrivers and pliers. When we go camping I also toss my drill and impact into the truck with fresh batteries just in case. I don't think there is a single mechanics tool inside the camper.

Where are you coming from? Reading your post has me thinking your coming in from the East? If thats the case 90-290-190 is a better way to go unless you have a specific reason to go 190 through the Downtown Buffalo area.

I'm from the area. Your staying on 90 and 190? If so there should be no problem. Those routes are used by tractor trailer every day and I can't think of a single spot that has a low clearance sign.

Even if legally allowed I do not want passengers in the trailer. If there was an accident I'd much rather have them in a seat with a seatbelt on to avoid as much harm as possible.

I'm right in the path of totality. Unfortunately this time a year we have cloud cover 60% of the time so you know the day before and the day after will be sunny but day off will have cloud cover.

You can try "Fresh Cab Rodent Repellent". Smells like an air freshener to me but I guess rodents don't like the smell. I've had good success so far using it.

Interesting that gas and salary have increased pretty level through time. I was guessing that gas was to increase a lot more than salary because it certainly feels like gas prices are out of control.
