I have the RV model permanently mounted in the bed of my truck hard wired to my battery and wouldn?t want to be without it. Well worth the money and I speak from the experience of needing to air up trailer tires when I didn?t have one. An absolute awful experience.
I have a new to me 2016 Chevrolet 2500 with Duramax engine pulling a 9,000 pound TT. I?m not sure my DEF level sensor is working properly. Approximately how many miles per gallon of DEF usage should I expect while pulling the trailer?

As Don C said, get a longer shank. Simple. My Andersen came with a long shank with two holes. I called to make sure and using the ?long? hole does not de-rate the 14,000# hitch. Tailgate clears the electric jack just fine.

Put tire pressure monitors on ALL the tires, including the spare. Air pressure in the spare should be checked as often as the other tires and this includes your daily driver.
Are you using Viair as per the instructions? It will make a difference in your readings. I do trust my Viair and have confirmed it is accurate with my second gauge.
A follow up from my original question. I took 105 from Brenham to Beaumont and stopped over at the KOA in Montgomery. It?s a good road and I didn?t have any significant issues. Anytime I can avoid interstate traffic through cities I try to. I would definitely do it again. Thanks for the tip.
