Just took the cover off of the trailer today to get ready for the season. As I was walking along the left side of the roof I noticed that the rubber seemed to be "Molded" to the cross beam. I placed my hand on the spot and could push it in plus hear a slight squishing sound. The area is about one foot square starting from the edge of the roof. There are no tears/rips/holes in the rubber and all sky light, a/c, etc seals look good. The only place I can possibly see the water getting in from would be the caulked edge? I inspect the trailer several times a year and caulk as needed, but did not see anywhere on the roof that had an issue. Now for the questions:
- Does this void a warranty?
- Can I fix this myself if the dealer refuses for some reason (warranty issue)?
I am going to assume "Worst Case" with the warranty so any input on a fix would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks Much!
