I have a grill with a standard propane bottle ACME connector much like any backyard grill. However I have a horizontal permanent mounted tank in my M/H which does not use an ACME fill valve but a 1 -5/16" POL fill valve (I believe).
It also has a plug for another 1-5/16" POL port. Would it be possible to remove the plug and add an ACME valve to the POL port to attach my grill allowing me to use the house propane? This is assuming I can find a valve with the same thread as the plug. The Extend-A-Stay adapters do not seem to be a solution as they require an ACME fill valve on the propane tank.
