Interesting rendition of Amazing Grace by Garth Brooks, and songs by J-Lo. Nice job on the National Anthem by Lady Gaga.

Without innuendo please be more clear in your answer.

Interpret it your way.

President Trump was a good negotiater. I hope President Biden will be as good.

:))

Lady Gaga really knocked it out of the park. Her outfit was fabulous too, with a golden dove of new creation on the jacket. I also enjoyed listening to the poet; what a glorious use of language! We watched most of the inauguration, and my family was sending messages on the family chat noting what part each of us liked best. It was very well done.

I was really enjoying this thread until this.

Sorry, I'm getting old.

The good, the bad and the ugly. This video is crazy.

When you get the music the video is better.

I think I missed that part.
The guy hanging from a rope or the soloist with a gun shaped earring.
Even the guy that speaks to an empty chair would probably find this difficult to watch.

But as they say, different strokes.

Sorry, maybe you got the wrong link.

Clint Eastwood has pushed limits but in my opinion he's about the greatest actor ever.

I am totally lost about Tom5555?s comments. Guessing he isn?t a fan of the President? But I am not sure how to get that from some random YouTube snippets of old movies. I must be slow today.

No need to be sorry.  I did miss it.  This is the one I thought you linked.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U9YLLd4YgY&list=RD3U9YLLd4YgY&start_radio=1

Doesn't have the mind blowing Wa Was but at least it's got a good beat.

Well...if you don't understand me that's fine. I don't understand what you said either but I'm sure we both agree this video is good.

Wow, thanks for sharing that Tom. You are right it is crazy good. I was shocked to find out the wah wahs were sung by a female. I thought it was a trumpet or a guitar with a wah wah pedal, except that wah wah pedals were not invented yet when this came out. I also found out from the article something I did not know. I will have to watch The GBU again:

The main two-note motif is used for each of the main three characters from the 1966 film, but played on three different instruments. Blondie (played by Clint Eastwood) is represented by a flute, Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef) an ocarina, and Tuco (Eli Wallach) a choir.

That video motivated me to talk to our Music Director about teaching kids in our 3rd-5th grade ukulele class to play and sing a 'regular' version of that song. When classes resume post Covid, of course.

Received a call confirming this is a go for the kids' ukulele class. We already have lead sheets (in different keys) in our library. A training video will me made since we probably won't be able to meet in person with the kids for some time.

I?ve previously posted something like this so I apologize for being repetitive. My Father could hear new music and then just sit down and play it on the piano. Sitting by my dad and watching him play as a boy was incredible. I didn?t have the gift to play but got an appreciation for the arts. My daughter can pick up sheet music and play a half dozen instruments. She played in band and orchestra from fourth grade to her senior year. Me, I have absolutely no talent whatsoever but I know talent when I hear it. LOL

A long-time friend and our Music Director does the same thing with a guitar. I've seen him do it so many times over the years, and often ask "how do you do that?" All he says is "I inherited the musical gene from my Mom".

Don't worry about being repetitive, I am jealous. It takes me hours to learn most of the things I learn. However occasionally I will be listening to a song and the chord changes are figured out by my brain and I am sitting listening to it thinking G, Em, A, D7.
