On the early news this AM. Plans to open the US border to fully vaccinated folks for non-essential travel in early November. I'm sure there will be additional, detailed info later today.
And what date us Lymies can visit!Yes, I read that this morning. Hopefully they will give more details about the exact date, and particularly regarding the millions of Canadians who received mixed approved vaccines.
Same idea: early November...Hopefully they'll release more details soon. And what date us Lymies can visit!
I avoid RV trips from Jan to March to the southern USA. Nov and Dec isn't bad. I think most try to get Thanksgiving and Xmas out of the way before they travel, so that is when I like to head south.I still hope some folk canceled or will. I need the month of March somewhere. So far everywhere I checked was fully reserved.
To date, only if you book a flight to the US and then have a transport company take your rig across the border. They'll drop it off at your arrival location (i.e, airport or hotel) and from there you can drive to Mexico.I wonder how many have already booked a winter spot in Canada and will now have to weigh losing some money against better weather.
Is there any word on if Canadians can travel through the USA and then enter Mexico?
So are you planning on coming to Florida this year Ed?The Canadian Government still has not removed the Travel Advisory saying to avoid ANY international travel. Most insurers use that as out to providing any coverage. As for tests to enter Canada, the Deputy Prime Minister said yesterday they still require the tests for anyone entering Canada. Proof of vaccination is required if you fly into the US, but only on a request basis if you drive.
