Your not the first to have that problem. Open the hood and notice the wire harness that goes to the wiper motor. Water gets in the connection through the grill into the harness dry the connection and seal it and sometimes it pays to move the harness away from the grill to a higher location...

Those pins are designed to shear, be careful what you put in there such as hardness and diamenter. Sounds like a binding or misalignment problem. Just my 2 cents worth Jim

"WOW" Delbert was right I installed the Vortex Fan Upgrade today! It took about an hour and it works great and I can see that it would be nice to control the fan speed. What a difference compared to the little fan. JIM

It may be possible that you could have some unwelcome visitors such as spiders or mud dauber wasps that could have made either a web or a mud nest in the burner thus blocking the fuel and air mixing correctly. Jim
