Your not the first to have that problem. Open the hood and notice the wire harness that goes to the wiper motor. Water gets in the connection through the grill into the harness dry the connection and seal it and sometimes it pays to move the harness away from the grill to a higher location...

        X3 I just did both of mine too. Like said they are cheap once they start sticking lubricating them is at best a temporary fix.  Jim

Those pins are designed to shear, be careful what you put in there such as hardness and diamenter. Sounds like a binding or misalignment problem. Just my 2 cents worth  Jim

Your guess is correct it does lay on the backside of the grille you should see tabs that stick up that fit in the slots of the filter material.        Jim

"WOW" Delbert was right I installed the Vortex  Fan Upgrade today! It took about an hour and it works great and I can see that it would be nice to control the  fan speed. What a difference compared to the little fan.  JIM

Some months ago I contacted the company with the same question and was told you can adapt down to 15amp and still  be protected...                      Jim

It may be possible that you could have some unwelcome visitors such as spiders or mud dauber wasps that could have made either a web or a mud nest in the burner thus blocking the fuel and air mixing correctly.    Jim

Don't want to pop your bubble but I looked at one last year and yes it also had a nice floor plan but look it over well because they are no longer made. The one we looked at had structural cracks in the lower slide openings where the slides come out. But I must also say that for such a nice unit...
