    Massive vibration over 60

On my 2004 HR Ambassador that same kind of vibration was caused by failed u-joints.  Cost to replace was over $4,000.  Thankfully, my Good Sam ESP paid for the repair done by Cummins in Houston.  I've had tire failures as well but this was much more serious and vibration just got unbearable in...

    First trip to TX

If you spend time in the Houston-Galveston area, you must spend a few hours in Galveston and the historic Strand.  Often called the "Wall Street of the South."  You'll love the look and feel of this special street and be sure to stop in LA Kings, an old-style candy and ice cream shoppe.  They...

    Two Proposed Diesel Pusher Modifications

Gary, I'd like to know about your project to remove your oven to make more storage.  We never use ours and my DW would love more storage space.

    Is All Water Filtered?

A tired carbon type in-line filter will cause water to taste "fishy."  Check your filter.

    Backing a 36' into driveway.

    Intermittent Beep

I have something similar. On my '04 HR Ambassador, there is a soft beeb I get when the road begins to be wet.  It starts very soft and increases but is never as loud as the leveling jack warning.  I think it may have to do with the ATC.  Any ideas how I can stop this annoying noise?

    Gas prices are dropping!

Diesel prices on the Kansas turnpike this week were $3.44.  Off the turnpike the price was $3.70-3.80.  I filled up at the last service plaza and made it all the way to Texas where prices were $3.66 at a Shell truck stop just north of Austin.

    Awning Question

Likely it is a Carefree of Colorado.  Mine is and the rubber ring is called a tensioner.  I cannot keep mine from failing so I just do not use my awning (sure would like to).

    RV Washing and Drying tools

LK23, where do you get these tools?

    Sewer hose (Again...)

Joe, I use one similar to yours.  One problem, some parks require a rubber ring so I carry a couple of those.
