        U might want to take a look in The RVers Corner . net I believe. There is a extensive piece on their tech bout the same problem. A onan tech wrote out a number of things u may want to check out. P.S mine does the same thing on occasion.

        Recently made my trial run with my 83 pace arrow ( that I have been rebuilding ) fron N.C to upstate N.Y. Only problem encountered was burnt plug wires.     vaccum entrance step

          Nothing inline-direct vacuum. Have tried to buy a check valve to hold the vacuum til the door switch dumps the vac. But can`t find a valve for 1/4" line anywhere.

          No dash switch on this unit for the step, only the door switch which works fine. As I  early posted, works great under normal driving conditions, but vacuum lost when 4 barrel is opened.

    Anyone Familiar with the 454 Engine with the A.I.R. system??

      Have removed all the air pump system on my 83 pace arrow 454, and pluged all with 1/4 " pipe plugs. Less restriction if all old plumbing is removed, and less chance of old debris inside coming loose of years and causing future broblems.

    high power bill... is the frig the culprit??

      My Dometic Classic all it once started consuming far more electicity than normal ALOT MOREEEEEEEEEEE. Found the problem to be a bad heating unit. Try switching over to gas for awhile, then check your bill.

      Friend needs to replace the gas valve on a older Suburban water heater. Model vsv 6x? It appears to be threaded in, if so is there room to unthread it in the housing?

    oil pan removal and oil pressure on a 454 chevy on a p30 chassis.

          Volume is very important, but I like to know that the pressure required is getting to the top end,and it is there fore recirculationg thru out the rotating system.

      and old rule of thumb was 10p.s.i per 1000 rpm. This old girl pulls 3000 @ 65mph. Too close for comfort, especially on a long run.

    Back to oil pressure on a big block chevy

          Is it possible to loss oil pressure should a by-pass valve on a oil cooler fail on a 454 chevy . Still hoping for a quick fix. Other than pulling the flex plate in order to lower oil pan completely to change oil pump.[
