The provincial parks in Ontario that can accommodate a 40' with toad are few and far between.  And those that can, usually have only 2-3 spots that will work.  We have found it to be quite a challenge - usually end up in private parks.

I cannot comment on the problem or the fix, but I can tell you that my Dometic micro/convection oven stopped working and it was covered by insurance.  We bought the trailer from a previous owner, and the insurance was transferable with the rig.  It was a $2000 replacement cost if I'd ordered...

We stayed at the KOA.  It was pricey, as we've learned, but I would stay there again.  They had a shuttle that runs all day and night to take you into the downtown - that was a lifesaver for us, since the parking is very tight down there and we tow with a F450.

We are planning a trip the Madeleine Islands this summer. Has anyone ever crossed to the Islands by Ferry?  We are still new to RVing - and I'm a little anxious about towing the 5th wheel (40 ft) on and off of a ferry.. Thoughts or opinions?
