Thinking about getting a CDL license

I have a CDL licenseas well,, as others have said $ and time would be better spent elsewhere. Practice in parking lots during non-peak hours is the way to go

    32' 6300lb Trailer Towing issues

I also tow with a 2008 Expedition. Maybe I missed it, How are your tires? At one time I put passenger tires on for a better ride, but they were terrible for towing.

    Common failures on trucks

On the 2008 model year the recommended oil change was every 7,500 miles except for special circumstances  (towing), Then the recommendation is oil/filter change every 5,000 miles. I was using the 5k guidelines and still had issues, just a marginal design (IMO)

    Common failures on trucks

Sorry to hear about your Ford 5.4L woes, I too have a 2008 Expedition with the same condition. Apparently around 2014 Ford changed the design to correct this flaw. I'd like to point out that more than one version of the 5.4L engine exist, that may be why the F250/F350 folks aren't seeing this.

Harbor Freight Volt Meter sparking when contacting opposite pole

X2 Additionally, I also own an oscilloscope although I use it less anymore. One habit I have is always checking voltage first, then move on to resistance. Yes the accuracy isn't the best, but for troubleshooting, meter is good enough.

Thanks for all the feedback, Now that you mentioned it, I remember thinking the pump assembly wasn't that tight. I just put it on securely after I re-assembled. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

    water pump issues -maybe

I have a 2012 Keystone Springdale camper. Mostly we have been using full hook-up sites. Went to use the pump this weekend and it didn't pump. Sounded like it was working but did not pull water from full on board tank.Battery fully charged, I made sure inlet was clear and primed pump - still did...

Yes butwith an adapter like this: http://www.etrailer.com/Wiring/Camco/CAM55175.html - be advised the 30A power cord is over-current protected by a 50A breaker.

norcold refrigerator not turning on on franklin 2003 travel trailer

I would completely check out to insure power is actually getting to the refrigerator.  Your post indicates 120/240 AC power and 30 Amp Circuit Breakers are you sure this is correct. Most 30 Amp trailers are 30A 120V NOT 120/240. FWIW, On an 10 year old trailer, I had to replace the crimp...
