Gas Furnace ducts: can they be rejiggered to equal air flow?

Closing one duct will probably not give more flow to another unless you block the draw instead of the register.  There will be a main line with several lines coming off of it to supply the register.  I still don't understand the "pawing" part.

Before putting away your rv or trailer in storage

We also use the bucket trap when we seal up our fifth wheel.  When we are driving away we won't be seeing our unit for 7 months so we want to make sure it is going to be rodent free when we return.  We also use Irish Spring soap chunks around the door step and inside our bays.

Pulled the Trigger on a Seasonal Site for 2016

After a few years of being a "most of the timer' in our class A motorhome my wife and I bought a fifth wheel and put it on a seasonal site at a lake close to us.  Same as you we get access from end of April to end of September.  Last year was our first year doing this and we were nervous as well...

Looking To Purchase GMC 2500HD, Any Concerns?

I have the same truck and I used it to pull my fifth wheel to a permanent spot at the lake.  Empty tanks, nothing in the trailer at all, nothing in the truck but me and a full tank of gas.  Pin weight was a little over 1800 pounds.  I pulled it ok but I could feel the truck was straining a bit...

    Fun Times

Well we just got back from our first trip in our new (to us) Dolphin.  Even after checking that there were no leaks or probs with the water system, the hot water tank blew a seam 8" long and had to be replaced the first night out.  Great guys at Snowy Peaks RV service in Crowsnest Pass. Then...

    Oil Type For 460 Ford

I am doing an oil change in the next couple of days and was looking for some input for type; dino or synthetic.  Also apparently there are two types of filters that will fit on that engine so advice on which one to pick up will be appreciated.  We won't be towing anything but where we are coming...

    Back up Camera

Could you possibly cut off both harness off of the camera and replace the new with the old?  That way there would be a perfect fit.  Assuming of course that it is basically the same layout with just the different plug sizes.

    Ice Maker

Okay now I have yet another concern.  The fridge in our unit has an icemaker, but being a moderate germaphobe I was going to disconnect and seal off the lines, but my otherhalf was debating on whether we could use it.  We drink tap water at home, use the ice from the house fridge and never drink...

    AC question

Well lots of things to consider now.  It looks like we have decisions to make on whether to spend money on getting both to work or just go along with one unit.  We don't plan on going anywhere too blazing hot so we can probably get along with one unit running, and we do both enjoy being outside...

Would someone explain "Smart Phones" to me

When we travel my wife and I use her phone, a five year old "dumb"phone that just makes calls.  This is all just my opinion but I use my laptop to access the web when we can find a site with wifi, or just do without.  We have a fairly good digital camera to take pics and we both have ebooks...
