My wife and I and our three kids get out as often as we can. We have encountered many young couples who are gainfully employed (not trust fund babies or lotto winners) AND full timers. They just happen to be able to work remotely and enjoy the RV lifestyle.  Good for you.

Oilman, Ned covered the bases on this one.  Having owned a gasser and a diesel I'd strongly recommend a diesel pusher. Find a floorplan that works for you and then look for something well cared for.  You'll find there are some crazies out there (like me) who store their rv's in garages and keep...

I moved up from a Forest River Georgetown to a Discovery 40g. I know it isn't the the 34Q but I hope it helps to know that we've been very pleased with the discovery. Moving up from gasser to diesel pusher was a joy.

I am fortunate enough to store mine indoors as well. I leave slides out if it will be sitting, or if it needs cleaned. Life is easier if the slides are out. I really can't think of a reason not to leave them out.
