    Youngest Full Timer Couple

My wife and I and our three kids get out as often as we can. We have encountered many young couples who are gainfully employed (not trust fund babies or lotto winners) AND full timers. They just happen to be able to work remotely and enjoy the RV lifestyle.  Good for you.

The most beautiful spot you've ever camped?

I've been to Bear Paw, but I got there by cruise ship. It had some gorgeous views!

    motohome storage question?

You guys got me to thinking.  I have a 2010 Fleetwood Discovery 40g and I have always moved my air "switch" from the "Auto" position to "low" after parking and before putting down the jacks.  I do it this way only because it makes sense to me and not because I read the manual.  I went back to...

    Basement compartment size

I have a 2011 Fleetwood Discovery 40g and the large pass through compartment measures 36" wide, 21" high, and about 84" deep.  I have two pass through compartments with those measurements but the second is divided into two separate sections with slide out trays. While I do wish I'd done one long...

    Generator size? All thoughts welcomed.

I have a Honda 3000iS as small backup genny for household use or to use for additional power when tailgating. I think I could manage your TT. I really have enjoyed it. (I have a class A RV so I really have not tried to power a TT with it so take my info with a grain of salt.

New to RV'ing and I'm kind of lost!

Oilman, Ned covered the bases on this one.  Having owned a gasser and a diesel I'd strongly recommend a diesel pusher. Find a floorplan that works for you and then look for something well cared for.  You'll find there are some crazies out there (like me) who store their rv's in garages and keep...

    Kentucky Derby Experience

Oooo I really hope someone has some experience here. My wife REALLY REALLY wants to see the Derby and I'd love to RV there!  If you get no responses please come back and post your experiences.

    Fleetwood Discovery 34Q

I moved up from a Forest River Georgetown to a Discovery 40g. I know it isn't the the 34Q but I hope it helps to know that we've been very pleased with the discovery. Moving up from gasser to diesel pusher was a joy.

Stored indoors do you have slideouts out or in?

I am fortunate enough to store mine indoors as well. I leave slides out if it will be sitting, or if it needs cleaned. Life is easier if the slides are out. I really can't think of a reason not to leave them out.

Tiffin Allegro 35QBA vs. Jayco 31FS

I recently went through a purchase where I had decided to upgrade from a Forest River Georgetown to a bunkhouse diesel pusher. I looked at the Forest River Berkshire, the Tiffin Allegro QBA, and the Fleetwood Discovery 40g.  I ended up being torn between the Tiffin and the Fleetwood and ended up...

    Spur of the Moment Purchase

I wouldn't call it spur of the moment but our first purchase was a 2009 Forest River Georgetown which we (Wife, three kids, and dog) enjoyed immensely. Previously I was a tent camper and my wife was from a family who RV'd. (19' winnebago)  We drove the Georgetown for 10 months and I toured a...

    Satellite receiver setup help

I have a Winegard RT1200T on top of my 2010 Fleetwood Discovery.  I have never had satellite before.  Could it possibly be as simple as putting the receiver from my (soon to be installed) home system into the RV? I'm guessing not.  I have a winegard RT1200T in motion dish that I want to hook my...
