    Finished sewing new dinette cushions

I did consider that, but I knew I wanted to use vinyl. I think it would work great if you used fabric.

    TT awning, used billboard vinyl

I haven't looked on eBay for the awning replacement material. I'll do that. If I have to sew anything, it'll make it take longer.

    Finished sewing new dinette cushions

@wegocampin no way. I don't even want to sew backs, I like the pillows! I can see why my aunt stapled material over foam to plywood! @katammers I bought my vinyl at a fabric warehouse in the minneapolis area, SR Harris. Sid's advice was to use it! LOL It was about half the price of retail. I put...

    TT awning, used billboard vinyl

Has anyone replaced their awning material with used billboard vinyl? It looks like the weight of the vinyl is similar to the awning material. We have a checkered flag awning, we got from salvage for our old camper. We moved it to the new camper, but it has gotten some pinholes, and is now...

    Finished sewing new dinette cushions

I didn't get back to sewing these dinette cushions until this year. I was kind of dreading the project. I did cut most of the fabric pieces last year. I put vinyl on the top and brown water repellant fabric on the bottom. A wood kick plate will cover the mechanics. Recap: we pulled out the old...

    Our project trailer

Goodness, the open walls. Glad to see you're plugging along! We t ok out the round type booth dinette in the new to us camper, and out in an L shape dinette bench. I finally finished the seat cushions. The material moves a bit, so I'm going to add a thicker layer of bat to the top of the foam.

    Really worn decals

Well, some of the decals are still on our camper. Just didn't get to it all this year. I peeled off what would come off, used a heat gun, and goof off. Some of it goes better because the decal is relatively intact. The dried up and crackled decals were taking forever. I heated and scraped...

    RV cover

We're looking at an adco cover or purchasing a metal carport. We would like to protect the rubber roof. We're in IL, so snow and ice are a concern. It would be covered from fall to spring.

    Really worn decals

I think they are about $40 a wheel, and right now I'm just working on the spots that are willing to come off. There's a swap meet here in a few months, so I'm going to look for the wheels there.

    Really worn decals

Thanks! I will pick up one if those and give it a try.

    Really worn decals

The decals on our camper are pretty worn out. I've gotten many off with the heat gun, but the remaining ones the decal is literally bake to pieces from age and sun. My heat gun isn't making much progress without a lot of scraping on my part. I'm using a plastic scraper. I haven't tried a razor...

Changing dinette, curve to u or bench style

The dinette in our camper is the curved style (in a slide out), with a freestanding table. We swapped a round one in, for the odd shaped one that came with camper. Round was definitely better. After camping with it this past weekend, we had some issues. Some with the dinette sinking and hitting...

In the middle of fabric projects, sofa, etc.

Went camping this weekend, had a short burst of heavy rain. A bit seems to be coming in where the two rubbers meet at the roof of slideout. Found a very small leak with the water main under the fridge. The leak in the back corner seems to be fixed. So, beyond that we're keeping an eye on things...

In the middle of fabric projects, sofa, etc.

I'm not sure if we 100% figure out where the water came from. It leaked long before we got it from the looks of it. The water pump in the bathroom was broken. We found a small leak on the side slideout, coming In along the cables?, dripping at the corners. We caulked behind some of the trim, as...

In the middle of fabric projects, sofa, etc.

I finished the sofa today. night time photo in my album. I used upholstery fabric (bench and kick plate) and a twin chenille bedspread there is a decorative twill on the back. I hope to get a daylight photo tomorrow. Dh put the mattress in. I feel like I'm climbing into a bunk bed. We got a 14"...
