I had a friend that was not into country music at all. One time, about 30 years ago, we were standing in line at the store and the guy in front of us had on a Joe Diffie tour T-shirt. When we got out to the truck he said, "Joe Diffie - has to be a made up stage name to sound more redneck." I said, "No, and neither is Dwight Yokum, George Strait, or Wynona Judd."
