I will be parking my 29' travel trailer for about 5 months through winter on gravel/grass. Is there a need to place the tires on the plastic blocks to allow air flow underneath the tire and is there any benefit to covering the tires in the colder climate?

Thanks,

Kory

When I lived up north, I would jack my summer toys up, to unload the suspension and tires. Square tires can and do happen.

My last 5vr was a 1997. I traded it after 15 years. I live in NH with lots of snow and cold. I never did anything to the tires. They sat right on dirt the entire winter. RV tires should be changed after 8 to 10 years anyway so they'll last that long easily. I suppose you could cover them from the sun but as far as I'm concerned, not required.

Shading the tires on the sun side may be beneficial,  but wrapping them is counterproductive, particularly if black.
