Sorrow and Grief has come to the Families of two Slain Law Enforcement Officers from my local area this week. These guys just providing for their Families, and making their communities safer,.. wiped out, shot and Killed Dead.

The Trash these People deal with on a daily basis. I am for More Funding of the Police!

It is sad when people get on the band wagon of Professional Criminals and are fake outraged when they get exterminated. It is a Real Possibility when you live that lifestyle. I have no pity for fools. It happens.

I back Professional Lawmen down here. I am a realist also. With Glock I will Defend.

Sorry to see this does not get offered up for Outrage, but it does not fit the Narrative.

RIP
Brothers.

Too much DNA / "weapons" out there to ever regulate our way of of this mess we have gotten ourselves into. Like trying to regulate dirt molecules at this point. Saturation x10. Be ready is my motto.

To the Fallen Officers.

..May the Spirits Bless your Souls, and watch over your families!

But we don't need gun control in this country do we.

Gun control will keep guns out of my law abiding hands and yours but not the bad guys. They will always have access to guns. Just had to get that in before this gets shut down which it will and rightfully so.

Dang Rene...We can't take a stand for backing the blue? Do I need to get a BLM feel enraged story going on to make the cut?

Tom,

Not-LOL...I agree...Crazy.

Too many video games for decades, desensitizing the youth. Those ought to be outlawed!!

Pre-Video Game Era...You got your Axx Kicked...the old fashioned way. Fist to Face.

When we see cops like the ones in Minnesota, they take away from the professionalism of the rest.

PJ,

Access to Guns in Japan? Rarity if not impossible for most.

My wife is Korean...same over there...Low Gun crime. Why? Hard to obtain has something to do with it I am sure.

I agree 1000%. Dude deserves to Rot in Jail until they exterminate him. When I saw the video...I was outraged. DC is garbage....His time here on earth is very limited.

Hold on while I get another beer and make some popcorn. The gun nuts are posting.

Far from it. I am anti Gun! I have a reason to be anti police, as my nephew was killed by a retired Policeman 11 Sep 1988 in San Antonio Texas. The day I got denied entry to GAFB last year when COVID hit the news cycle reality hit me. Call 911 and wait 30 min if you are funded, LOL. I immediately went out and purchased a Glock 10mm. Just make sure you are knocking on doors around here as if you barge in, I got Lead for you.

Someone today mentioned the move to Defund police (Actually that is not what they are doing, they are changing a few priorities is all)

Training: that is the key
I keep hearing "I thought he had a gun so I Bang Bang I shot him down"

Well I worked for over a quarter century for the Michigan State Police in Detroit. MI. We had a number of Officer Involved shootings.. They all had several things in common.

1: The suspect (With 1/2 exception) had a gun (more on that in a paragraph or 2)
2: the suspect shot first (no exceptions)
3: The Suspect was an UpStanding citizen post shooting (Up Standing in front of a Judge hearing how long he (or she) was going to be a guest of the Department of Correction.. NO suspects died.

Wish I could say the same of the Troopers.

Now: The 1/2 exception.. The suspect tried to grab the Trooper's gun. he failed but in the process he fired the gun hitting himself of course. On that one the lying ant-police folks said "They made him kneel there for 30 minutes before they called EMS"
When **I** called EMS the Trooper was still breathing hard from the wresteling match, 30 minutes from BANG the suspect was on the table at the #1 Gunshot Trama hospital in the WORLD. (Detroit Receiving).

I’m 70, traveled across this country more times than I can count plus several foreign countries. Spent the night in many parking lots, rest stops, sometimes just the side of the road. Drank a lot of beer in honky tonks. Strolled down back allies in St. Louis. Got lost in East St Louis after midnight. Never thought I needed a gun. But it seems there are many folks that think they need a gun strapped on every time they cross their threshold. I guess some folks are just afraid of life itself.

I'm always sorry to hear about officers being Killed in the line of duty. Almost as sorry as I am to hear of officers killing someone who didn't deserve it.

Sadly, there are way too many irresponsible gun owners in this country, and way too many unsecured guns.

I remember way back when I walked three miles in the snow all by myself to school when I was 7 years old. ;) That was way back when there wasn't a lot of people on Earth. And I remember when pick up trucks were driven to the high school with a gun rack in the back window with double barrel shotguns hanging in them. They were never stolen or used in a single on campus shooting. Of course the years have gone by and the guns all have a mind of their own and are itching to shoot someone every single morning when the sun comes up.
There is no support from the national media and rarely you will ever see their names mentioned on the nightly news when any LEO is gunned down. RIP, as their families will never enjoy peace.

We didn’t have snow in Daytona Beach so I just rode my bicycle 3 miles to school all by myself in the beautiful sunshine. There were a bit over 3 billion folks on earth. Not a one of them threatened me. I was one of those folks with gun rack in my pickup. I walked around my high school with a shot gun slung over my shoulder that I used for a demonstration in Speech class. It’s a different world now. I don’t have a problem with folks owning guns. But I do think that it should be extremely difficult to purchase one. All guns should only have the capacity to hold five rounds. You can’t hit your target with five rounds, maybe you shouldn’t own a gun. And I do support law enforcement; the good ones. And by the way, defund the police does not mean get rid of the police. It means redirect some funds for programs that maybe will save the lives of some folks that need help, not bullet holes.
