Class A or C with half garage/cargo area?

Haven't seen one with a half garage but there is the Thor Outlaw with a full garage that comes in Class A and C versions. Alisa

    Full Timing with multiple cats

We take our 2 cats with us in a 30 foot motorhome. We go on shorter trips now (1-3 weeks) waiting for the day to start full-timing! The cats actually love it. They are both indoor only and adjust very quickly to the smaller RV space. Alisa

    Midwyf? Love to read?

"The Good Thief" by Hannah Tinti is so well written. I can't recall the time period, but well worth the read. Alisa

Where is best place to stay at Yellowstone

Just outside the park in West yellowstone, Grizzly RV is nice and you would have full hook up there. Then you could explore Yellowstone daily with your toad. I think you could fit a 40' RV in the Madison campground, but no hook ups at all. Many of the campgrounds within the park are too small...

    Tent campers on Christmas Eve?

Ha ha! I can totally relate to the "kept the riff raff out" comment, as my DH also likes to say that. ;-) Alisa

    Tent campers on Christmas Eve?

We are from Washington state as well and grew up with the year-round "dress in layers" mantra so being prepared for cold when tent camping was just a given, even in summer. But we also grew into a motorhome, like so many others. When I was younger I didn't understand why someone would "camp" in...

New to the forum...hi from the Great Northwest

Hi Geoff... Go Cougs! We live in Seattle but have been taking the RV to most of the WSU home games for a few years now (husband is the Coug, I'm the supportive wife. :)) Regarding recommendations, for Washington campgrounds we really enjoyed our visit last year to Fort Worden State Park in Port...

Curtains - with or without tiebacks?

I like the tiebacks with the rods too. But I really like your husband's (I'm assuming) look in the second picture, ha ha! :-) Cheers, Alisa

    Beachside RV Locations

If you want the beach but don't mind being in town as well, San Elijo State Park in Cardiff by the Sea is good. Pros: Right on the beach, well you do need to take some stairs down but not too bad. Grocery store, coffee shops, etc. nearby, if you are OK with that. Surfing (my hubby surfs so...

    Disneyland RV Trip

We haven't stayed at that RV place but love to go to Disneyland when we are in California. Good idea regarding the dog kennel, you will be glad you did that. Having no car should not be an issue and I would be surprised if there wasn't a shuttle from where you are staying, or near there, to take...

    Washing Little Folks

When my daughter was really small we used a blow-up tub to bathe her. I wonder if there is a slightly larger or very small pool that would work the same way. It was nice because we could deflate for space as needed.

Wifi or cell reception anywhere at Yellowstone near Madison campground?

Thanks Tom, we may find ourselves doing that.

Wifi or cell reception anywhere at Yellowstone near Madison campground?

Geez, I hate to even ask because I think it's a long shot, but my husband insists since it may make a difference on whether I can go with the family on a planned trip to Yellowstone, or what kind of arrangements we'll need to make if I do go... And I agree with anyone who says Yellowstone is not...

    Planning an RV holiday!

You are picking the best weather time of year to visit this area! Expect crowds in August, especially at national parks, but it's all yours in September once the kids are back in school.  :) I recommend a visit to Banff if you can. Then drop down to Glacier National Park in the US. If you plan...
