    Onan Generators

I have the same genset in my 2000 Pace Arrow and was experiencing the same issues as you have. Mine finally got to the point where it would only run for about 5 minutes before shutting off, then would not start for another 30 minutes or so. Turned out to be a bad fuel pump. Replaced the pump...

1984 Shasta E350 fuel pump cut off switch?

Try looking behind the kick panels on both the driver and passenger sides. Kick panels are plastic, run vertically up the side of the vehicle, right next to where your feet are resting when sitting in the vehicle. The safety switch is typically black with a white section sticking out - from what...

1995 32footer 454 tbi high idle and real rich...

Hi Jake, On any gasoline engine vehicle that is computer controlled, the base idle speed is controlled by the amount of air that is allowed to bypass the throttle plates in the throttle body housing. If the idle speed is too high, there are only a few possibilities. First, the unit that...

How to keep mice from chewing their way into toy hauler

I have been using this product for 2 years now. It is not bullet proof, but has substantially cut down on mice activity in my coach. It is parked next to my driveway and is surrounded by wooded areas. I have tried everything that has already been mentioned, and this seems to work best for me anyway.

    NEw England's best RV parks?

Danforth Bay in NH has an over 50 separate section called The Bluffs. We visited Danforth Bay about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. Took a walk to The Bluffs, and thought it was pretty nice. It may be worth looking into. I'm new to this and I need to do a few shakedown cruises close to home...

    Phantom furnace problems

Replaced the thermostat on Friday, and everything has been operating normally since. Thanks to all for the advice and direction. I did learn something that may be of use to anyone else having this concern. The circuit boards that make up this thermostat are the same whether you have 1 or 2...

Alternate route from RI to Lake George

Wish I was retired!!! Long way to go for that. Needed to get out of that aspect of the auto industry, now involved with teaching and managing programs at a technical school.

Alternate route from RI to Lake George

Iowned George's Auto Service. Started on Long St. in EG, moved to Frenchtown Rd., then finished in a building that was next to Bay Buick on Post Rd. Small world, eh!

Alternate route from RI to Lake George

Thanks Bill. Rt 2 is what mapquest suggests. I don't mind going through some towns, as long as the scenery is nice. Kinda tired of the concrete jungle and billboards! Rt 20 isn't a bad option, but Rt 2 will take us through Vermont, which should be nice.

    Phantom furnace problems

Thanks Stu. The problem is constant now. As soon as the front furnace blower kicks on - with the thermostat in the off position - I disconnect the 2 wires at the thermostat, and the furnace cycles off. Once it cycles off, I plug the wires back into the thermostat, and the front furnace starts...

Alternate route from RI to Lake George

Anyone ever take an alternate route to Lake George from the Providence/Boston area? Typical route is I-90 to I-87, but we have time to take it slow. Mapquest gives an alternate trip going through Vermont, but not sure if that route would be good to travel with a 37' motorhome. Thanks.

    Phantom furnace problems

OK - I'm convinced that the thermostat is bad. It is an Intellitec 00-00597-000. The best price I have been able to find is $137.00 through rvpowerpartsplus.net. Anyone know of a better place and price? Thanks!

    Phantom furnace problems

Thanks. From what you nice folks have been reporting and what I have been able to pull off google searches, the thermostat is the likely culprit. Does anyone know of any wiring schematics for these furnaces? The thermostat doesn't appear to be cheap, and I don't want to throw parts darts unless...

    Phantom furnace problems

Oops - the difference in the intellitec controller is that mine has the rear furnace. Sorry about that!  :-[
