    How do you get around?

OP:  Have you driven a Class A or a Class C yet?  The comfort level driving 1 of these things is important.  I drove some class A's and man I couldn't stand how they drove.  I drove a Class C (ended up buying it) and loved it.  Just like driving a dually truck.  I still enjoy driving it around. ...

    Newbie towing

I'm with Gary; I think you will be unhappy with the performance but the truck will get the job done and remember it's not a race. The vacation starts in your driveway :).  In the future I'd think it wouldn't be too hard to upgrade the truck since dealerships are looking to unload v8 trucks anyway.

Welding Procedures on Spartan Chassis Motorhomes

Always a good idea to disconnect electronics and batteries when welding.  Another good precaution is to place the ground clamp from the welder as close to the area your welding on as possible. That way the current is making a short path and not circulating through the rest of the stuff.

The search is over! Got a Class C today

Took the rig on our first trip. We had a blast.  We went down to Pigeon Forge TN and stayed at River Plantation RV Park.  It was a nice park but almost to nice for us..  But it was a great spot for the first timer as there were several camping stores and a walmart close by for those items we...

    Back up Camera help

The Roadmax system worked fantastic as a rear view camera on my trip this weekend.  I knew were I was going so I didn't use the GPS part but I did let it track me and it was accurate on the map.

Newb Question about hot water heater

Are these hot water heaters designed to run continuously? Like when you setup camp you turn it on and leave it on the entire time if you plan on using it?  Thanks!

The search is over! Got a Class C today

No stranger here. I've spent the last 2 evenings under this thing installing Air Lift Bags and an Air lift compressor kit because I have them on my truck for towing heavier trailers and they work wonders so I figured they would allow me to tune the ride to my comfort depending on wind etc... ...

The search is over! Got a Class C today

Bought a 96 Fleetwood Tioga Montara Class C today.  This was the 2nd time I looked at it and I took it for a drive and did an pretty thourough inspection using the checklist on the site. After the owner threw in a bunch of covers etc we shook hands and set a time to meet at the bank.  30k miles...

    1999 Georgie Boy 33.5' thoughts?

Welp the Monaco is an awesome coach from the outside...  I can't get ahold of any body to show me the inside now.  Anyway I test drove the Georgie Boy today and it had a really bad vibration at 50-60 mph range and would smooth out some after that but it really wondered around on the road and...

NADA Wholesale really possible on used units?

I think the new age and price tag puts your rig into that category where a great deal is possible.  But when your talking 15-20k the deals get hard to find.  I'm just trying to understand the rules of the game.

NADA Wholesale really possible on used units?

OK So through this process of trying to buy a Class A or Class C thats a little older but still works good I've been under the impression from reading posts on this site that one can get away with paying the wholesale price or even 5-10% below that in this economy.. So with that in mind and...

    1999 Georgie Boy 33.5' thoughts?

Thanks for the heads up on the steering issues.  There is a 1992 Monico Executive 38' pusher here in town that's been on a lot for quite a while. I called about it months ago and the salesman said 80k and I just laughed he then jumped down to 45k which is still up there. I figure I will go...
