    Tires - best for a 15" TT ?

This leads to a question I have about wheels.  My 15x15.5 are likely rated at 50psi (best I can find without look at the inside of the wheel).    It appears that no matter what tire size I go with, that once I get in the D load rated tire, the max psi is 65 (compared to 50psi on most C load...

    Tires - best for a 15" TT ?

I've come to the conclusion most things are made in China now.  However, I am anticipating less problems trailering with a LT tire vs an ST tire in general. In researching this.  LT and P tires appear to require higher safety standards and are more thoroughly tested.  For whatever reasons the...

    Tires - best for a 15" TT ?

Hey - I did find something in LT that might work! Goodyear Wrangler HT LT215/75R15 http://www.goodyeartires.com/tire/wrangler-ht/ Click View Full Tire Details to get the specs. But if I read this right. 1) It will fit my 15x5.5 wheels. 2) The load rating is D (2,095 @ 65).  That better than...

    Tires - best for a 15" TT ?

Going with a ST225 was in my plans, then I hit this snag.  My wheels are 15x5.5.    The goodyear ST225 (and all others that I can find) require a minimun wheel with of 15x6.

    Tires - best for a 15" TT ?

I thought the hard decision was to replace all of my tires. The Duros are starting to crack and blow after 3 years, I have 15" rims. The tire I replaced my Duro blowout with late last year was a Goodyear Marathon. So, it makes sense to just get 3 more Marathons. I then read reviews, the...

    Tires and more Tires :) When is a ST205/75 D15 NOT a ST205/75 D15????

I will ask my question firsts, then put the details below. 1) What is a bigger (taller) tire than a ST205/75 D15?      I'm thinking a ST225/75 R15, but will that fit on the same 15" rim as the ST205?  I want to go with a taller tire for more clearance, I have plenty of room.  2) IF I went...

Question to owners of Yamaha e2400ishc inverter/generator

Yes, that helps thank you.  I fired it up tonight and the AC ran fine, I was even able to switch on the Microwave without tripping a breaker.

Question to owners of Yamaha e2400ishc inverter/generator

Just got mine the other day, runs great, very quiet.  Going camping this weekend and it's going to be hot! Just a few questions. 1) I am told this will run a 13,500 BTU without any problems.  I researched some before buying it, and it sounds like it should run my AC fine.  I just wanted to...

Rubber Roof Issue - or not?

Well, I just got a call from the dealer.  They said this is normal, common on a lot of campers, common contraction and expansion.  Therefore there is nothing to fix. I really would appreciate input from those of you who have rubber roofs, is this really common?  I know the one guy that replied...

    Back Up Cameras

Just an update. Peak (antifreeze people) has a  license plate mount backup camera with transmitter (without a transmitter these wireless cameras are pretty much useless after 20 feet or so).  SAMs Clubs has one on sale (at least in MO) for less than $100.00 with a 7" LCD.  Yep a 7" LCD...

Rubber Roof Issue - or not?

I just got my new (2008) Four Winds TT from Byerly RV in St. Louis. I was cleaning the roof (really dirty after sitting on their lot for the last year or more) and noticed that the Rubber Roof had air pockets in it at places, especially around the seams.  See the attached pictured. I just sold...

    TV Power Booster

Due to the location of my TV, I'm not able to easily access the button for the TV attenna signal booster.  So, I am leaving in on always (well for those days when the camper is being used at least). Is that a problem of any sort?  Thanks!

RV Cover - TT (the good and bad)

I have battled the pros and cons of this for years, but with a new RV I'm thinking about it again. I store my RV outside like most people, it's winterized 4 months out of the year.  During those 4 months I have been thinking about covering it with an RV cover. During the other 8 months, I use...
