    macerator

I just got a Latchit one off of Amazon. I've only used it once but it was great. I don't have septic or a sewer cleanout, so I ran it to our downstairs toilet and it wasn't as gross as I expected! I would recommend getting a good quality 3/4" hose. I got a Harbor Freight cheapy and it was...

We are looking into a Canada Visit

As a resident in the GTA (greater Toronto area) my warning would to avoid this area, or budget to take the toll highway 407 all the way through. The 401 can be truly hellish. It’s the busiest highway in the world.

Have you ever seen a MLB umpire with a ponytail?

Haha, I’m female. And paid attention to a news story about her.

Have you ever seen a MLB umpire with a ponytail?

I had seen a news story about her.

Have you ever seen a MLB umpire with a ponytail?

Well, hair hanging in her face could potentially impede her ability to do her job...

    Total Eclipse 2024?

I’m also in the path of totality, but in a city, so I booked a Harvest Host nearby but hopefully away from the crowd.

    Anti Freeze taste

I can't stand the taste and smell of regular RV antifreeze. Long after "normal" people say it's fine, the smell and taste make me gag. When I got my new trailer last year, I decided that I would never use standard RV antifreeze in it. I switched to "Absolute Zero". It's more expensive, but...

    Your cat's favorite toy(s)??

Go Cat PurrPellar toy is Owen’s favorite toy by far! We’re trying to get a little bit of weight off of him so I started playing with him every night. We play in the spare room so the dogs won’t bother us. He loves it so much, but he actually “calls“ me to that room now, each night when he...

    Strange Animals/Things You Have Seen

Well we definitely don’t see either as a rule!

    Strange Animals/Things You Have Seen

I don't have any bigfoot type sightings, but I have a couple of "those don't belong here" sightings. The first was at a local Provincial Park, Bronte Creek, which is a regular dog-walking spot for me. I came off of a trail that comes out of the woods to a gravel road with an old fence on the...

Stowing the "loose" stuff for road time

I recently discovered museum putty. It kept my test, an IKEA can of kitchen utensils, perfectly in place on the counter from southwest Tennessee to Toronto. I’m not 100% sure I trust it with my coffee maker yet, but maybe…

    Hello, new RVers here

My best friend and her hubby have that model and they absolutely love it. The only problem they've had was a water leak behind the city water connection and that was quickly and easily fixed under warranty. Happy Camping!!!

Advice Needed: Mixing Tire Brands on a Single-Axle Camper Trailer

I agree with Kirk, what would the damage caused by a potential blowout do to your ability to sell? (Not to mention you or someone else could get hurt, or it could ruin your last trip). Throw a set of Carlisle’s on it, enjoy your last trip, and use them as a selling point. I’m in Canada as...

    Honda EU2200 Companion by itself?

I read that it is safer to use the 30 amp plug. Granted, I'm no electrical wiz, and these guys may or may not know what they're talking about but I went with the companion after reading stuff like this... This is from the Lance forum. " A 30 amp 'rated' receptacle, that to be rated as such...
