    Wintering in Florida

The Panhandle is nice but it will be cooler. Temps in Jan. average about 60 for a high. Anything along the coast will be higher $ than inland and much more crowded. The Keys are wonderful but really expensive. We found that between Ft Myers and West Palm Beach will be warm and reasonably priced.

    55+ parks ??

You will have no problem in south Texas. Most parks have had a downward trend in occupancy. Along as your money is green and no kids. My wife and  I retired two years ago when I was 53 and were never questioned. Just get ready to be the youngest couple in the park. Even though I get along fine...

    Water leak ...

I have a black water tank flush leak as well on my 5th wheel Open Range but I used my regulator and had the valve open. The leak is in a spot where I can't quite see so I just live with it.

Mt Washington NH- Anyone been there?

Took our motorcycles up and loved it. Much colder up there. I would second the train if no bike.

    Central Wisconsin Seasonal parks

Looking at a mostly summer seasonal site in the central Wisconsin. I live in southern WI. Looked at a lot of web sites and reviews but would like a more adult orientated park if possible. Meaning quiet and not necessarily geared towards kids. Any experiences?

What is your most embarressing RVing moment

Our first 5th wheel after the first week I decided to dump the waste tanks. Pulled up to the dump station and took the cap off the drain pipe not realizing the two levers were already pulled out. Got myself pretty wet. Just glad no one was watching.

    The RV industry's quality problem

I guess the same can be said for the service industry as well. Poor training for employees who probably should not even be working in the food service industry. Maybe less people take pride in doing a job done well now too.

    The RV industry's quality problem

I kind of agree with Jammer on the quality control. Two new 5th wheel toy haulers in the last two years and I have spent a great amount of time fixing stuff that should have been right the first. A lot easier than bringing it back.

    Gas Milage

The 6.7 Ford engine might be a better mpg while the 6.4 is worse. I have the latter but it is dependable and should be cheaper since it was used in the 2008-2010 models.

    08 F350 fuel capacity ?

My 08 F350 6.4 SRW crew cab long box manual says the fuel tank capacity is 38 gallons. I have run it down to 5 miles left in tank a couple of times and have only been able to get approx. 34 gallons of fuel into it. Is 38 gallons stated wrong or is the fuel warning? I don't want to find out the...
