    Tank heating

The heated holding tanks really have nothing to do with the rv furnace.  Normally they are electric heat strips and how good they are depends on where they are located.  If they are in an an area that is heated they would work better than those exposed to the elements.  The biggest propane use...

1996 Georgie boy Cruisemaster water tank location

Turn the electric water pump on and follow the sound.  The pump is going to be real close to the tank.

Storing RV While on a Cruise

We actually went to a local camground and made arrangements to leave it there while we were gone.  They let us keep it there for no fee if we disconnected from their electricity, which we did.  That was in Miami when we cruised out of that port.  No problems, and refrigerator ran for that week...

    pilot for hot water heater

It may just be blowing out from the wind.  As I recall, when I had one with a pilot lite, it had an adjustment that could increase the flame a little.  Dont adust it to high, or it will smoke.  There should also be some kind of wind shield in front of the pilot flame.  Make sure it is in place. ...

    Propane leak

Take it to an rv dealer.  They have detectors that can find a leak that soapy water cant find.  Also, if they have to drain the tank, it cant be drained in the environment and they will know how to do that.  I cant imagine it would take them more than 10 mins to find it, or you can buy a propane...

    Air Conditioner Rattles

I would pull the cover that holds the filters.  Under it there are two bolts you can see that hold the ac against a gasket.  You can see the other two by emoving the part under the filter housing.  Just tighten them equally down, snug, but not enough to destroy the gasket.  Hope that helps

    Replacement side door options

My question is why were you driving 70MPH in rain and hard blowing crosswinds?  Please stay off the road when I'm on there.

    Repairing damage from Roof Leak

I recently discovered a leak in my Class C roof.  The ceiling did not stain, however where the water leaked in I seem to have small strips (about 6 inches long), or better described as lines.  It looks as if the glue came off of the covering of the stuff that is attached to the ceiiling..  Has...

2009 RV FORUM SOUTHEAST FALL RALLY SCHEDULED!

Just me again.  Has anybody ever done a low country boil?  How many people are you expecting for the rally.  For those of you who dont know what it is, it originated in Frogmore SC and was called (and still is) Frogmore stew.  Different names with the same concept around the country.  Anyhow...

    Small Scooter Hauler

I have the versahauler and carry a 125 yamaha scooter on it that weights a little over 200 lbs.  I then have a car dolly that I attach to it.  Works pretty good, and doesnt seem to affect handling.  The hitch is long so you have to take that into account going over any bumps, especially if you...

    Stuborn odor

Probably the very best thing you can do to take care of the problem is install the rv360 on both the grey and black water vents.  They are powered by the wind and force the odors out the vent pipe.  Best money I ever spent.  Camping World has them as do other places, and installation is quick...
