JellyStone park and Campground, North Texas

They must have REALLY gone downhill since your visit !!! Words cannot express how bad an experience we had at this park !! We had stayed at the Park in Robert, La multiple times with our kids and hoped this would be equal or better for our grandkids. I will not use the language necessary to...

Does your towables have ST tires

Something I'm just learning and some info you may want to know: Interesting information about ST tires in my attachment.... note the speed rating - not that you should ever go faster than that with an rv, but margin of safety considerations should slow you done especially in the summer heat...

How much weight is too much?

Old thread, but good one ! I too was worried about how to stop our large 5th wheel until I found an empty road, turned the gain on the 250's built-in brake controller to 6... and tromped on the brakes.... the 5th wheel will stop my truck !  lot's of wear and tear on the rv tires, but too much...

30A On Demand Water Heater not working great

It's not only misunderstood by people who DON'T have them - also by those that do (until they get used to thinking backwards :) ) The turn the hot water UP to cool it down and turn it down to heat it up is a tough concept when the water hitting certain areas is too cold or too hot :) :) and...

    Securing dining area chairs

Although we usually don't tie ours down, found bendable 'sticks' that are like these: http://www.opticsplanet.net/nite-ize-6-gear-tie.html that I fold around to hold in place.... works well as I usually try NOT to jump too many railroad tracks :)

Mor/ryde Independent suspension and disc brakes

our new MVP destiny has the mor-ryde and between it and the trail-air 5th wheel hitch with shock absorber and two air bags, I barely feel the road shock thru the 5th wheel... buddy just bought a Raven 5er and after seeing mine insisted on the cushioned hitch pin...

    EXTRA FUEL TANK

Since I have the 26 gal tank on my 250 I am researching that too... but a point to consider is will that extra 200 or so lbs put you over your axle weight rating ?!? typically the 3/4 ton trucks are at their gawr with just the pin wgt... so consider it carefully... (besides, the 26 gallons go...
