    Gassing up

I always turned of the refrig when gassing up my old rig... (Gasoline engine) With our new diesel rig, I don't worry quite as much. Diesel is not nearly as explosive. Also now our refrig runs on electricity on the inverter when driving. It only seems to use propane if you force it to go into...

Found Answer(s)! Nylon Plug in Water Heater Blown Out - Remove Balance of Plug?

Haven't had to try it yet, but after it happened once to me, I went searching for a solution... Heat the remaining threads with a lighter and remove with needle nose pliers. You'll save yourself from damaging the threads.

Auto leveling jack won't completely retract

I had that problem with my 2010 journey... Had to clean and silicone right rear jack almost everytime. I noticed that the rear mudflap and u-bolt that anchored the jack were interfering with the spring. Once these were resolved the problem seems to be OK. Mine are PowerGear jacks.

Should levelers be used at home or while stored?

I usually leave mine down when stored, but cycle them up and down on a regular basis. I try to do this when exercising the generator. At least once a month; but then again, it gets used at least that much!  ;D

    PressurePro Issues (Long)

Ok, I wanted to wait until everything was resolved before posting this. Last month I had a problem with one of my sensors on my toad. It had gotten overheated with a brake problem and finally gave out. I called L&S Systems where I had purchased my PressurePro. They wanted to try several...

    CDL wouldn't it be safer?

While a CDL might be useful for all motorhome drivers, just to clarify a CDL is not required in Texas to operate a recreational vehicle that is driven for personal use. (Recreational vehicle defined as including travel trailer, camping trailer, truck camper and motor home.)

    pressure washing the Grill

Set a drip pan in the center of the grill that holds the coals. Build a fire on each side of the drip pan... About 15 to 20 briquets. After they have ashed over spread out on each side of the drip pan. Place the brisket fat side down in the center of the grill. I soak mesquite chips in a pail of...

    pressure washing the Grill

Got through cooking a brisket on the weber grill yesterday, and to clean up the grill I thought... Why not use the pressure washer? Make short work of removing the baked on grease and ash... Not a real substitute on getting the grate really clean, but to clean up the housing, easy.
