    LED REPLACEMENT LIGHTS

I have converted all my lights to LED, I tested at least a 100.00 in lights from various dealers, I tried superbrights but wasn't impressed with the color temp of the lights and the lack of choices. I found this company  http://superlumination.com/home.htm  They had better choices, better...

Sights in Oklahoma & Northern Texas?

TenKiller Lake is nice, Beavers Bend State Park is very nice....both are a little out of your way.  Just the thought of highway conditions of 40 from FS to OKC would make me consider a different way.....That has to be one of the worst stretches of pavement in the country.  69/75 South from...

Has anyone put a home theater in their R/V?

To the OP.  I am in the business, I own a Home Theater Company here in the Southlake TX Area. As many have posted, "most" newer rigs have something in them already or prepped for it.  From a quality perspective yes it is pretty low BUT they do get the job done.  A few things we did to...

    Under 5er storage options?

Hey folks, Looking to move some things around in the 5er to better use my storage and realized that there is plenty of room to add an undermounted storage box or a drawer of some type.  Anyone done this?  If so, could you post some photos or links to your install? All I really want to put in...

    Dirty Carefree Awning

This is a lot of work but I have seen and hear people using the magic eraser on it.  So you would need a ladder and a few beers I would imagine.  Ours gets dirty and somehow we roll up bugs and those are really difficult to get off.  I used the awning cleaner, soaked it as much as I could and...

    Kitty Delete on PSD 6.0

Well....short trip home...truck towed great, we were full of Grey and Black water to dump at storage.  Truck ran fine felt like maybe a little more power but that could be in my head. No difference in sounds in the cab either.  Almost seemed more quiet.    I suppose freeing up some air flow...

    Kitty Delete on PSD 6.0

Wanted to try an experiment since I live in a state that doesn't require a Cat.  I ordered a straight pipe replacement and took down the cat.  No noticeable increase in noise but can hear the turbo a little more.  Will be towing from the campground to home tomorrow so I will post up any new...

    Jayco 27BH with 07 Expedition - thoughts?

We have an 08 EXPY with the HD tow package.  While we dont' tow a 27BH, it would have no problem towing it.  We put a Prodigy on the EXPY for when we do tow our 25ft inclosed...pulls it like a shadow.  If you do have the 6 speed you will enjoy towing with it.  But I don't think the 6 speed...

    Need 5th Wheel towing lessons

My wife makes up her own hand signals but it doesn't matter she has a knack for standing where I cannot see her anyway..  :)  I normally don't need a spotter either but sometimes I do ask her how far I can go and boy do I get some interesting gestures.

    Need 5th Wheel towing lessons

What i did after going from a TT to a 5er, I went to the local high school parking lot and practiced for at least an hour with different kinds of problems I thought i would have.  I used a trash can and wheel chocks on the ground as markers for things to back up to.  I even practiced to parallel...

    GLIDE RIDE PIN BOX

a few things to check... Are you level?  Pin High or Pin Low?  Each has a different feel. As for reviews, i cannot comment on the glide thing...but I do have a 5th Airborne with Sidewinder and I have almost no chucking or bucking...I also installed Air Bags. Tows great and even on the...

    slide hit tree on extending

We have two slides on our 5er, bunkhouse and a superslide...I keep a tape measure and always measure before unhooking.  2 weeks ago, I backed in to a nice tight spot...measured my superslide...unhooked and got level, open the slides and within a few seconds, the rear slide stopped...I went out...
