My propane furnace keeps blowing fuses while running overnight. My 5er is brand new and we can't figure out why the fuses blow. It happened twice this weekend. Can anyone help?
Tried using the propane furnace this weekend and we would wake up to the fuse on the panel blown. Kind of a pain as it's going to get colder soon and we want to keep on camping. It's a brand new Fifthwheel, what could cause it to blow fuses overnight?
We have a new Pinnacle washer/dryer Super Combo, washes great but can't seem to dry anything! Anyone else have this problem too? Are we just overloading it for the dry cycle?
So we just picked our 5er and brought it home. Everyone says how different towing and backing is. You can not truly appreciate just how different and dare I say easier it is with a 5er! Now if the damn Army would give me some leave life would be good!! Can't wait to use it.
I'm kind of new as well, I just upgraded from a bumper pull to a 5er, haven't taken delivery yet but am excited to get it out. What helped us in our decision was talking to other rvers and they all seem to say that a 5er is easier to pull and back up. Starting off with a diesel is the best way...
In mine while just having the landing gear down it hardly moved. I can imagine it would only be better with the full stab system down. I agree that it is a lot of useless weight and room stealing. Guess you guys just talked me out of getting one. Thanks.
I just upgraded to a 2016 Keystone Alpine 3011RE. What is everyone's opinion on a stabilizer for their king pin? Is it really needed or just a personal preference thing?
Looking at either a 2500 or a 3500 for pulling my current TT @ 8000lbs, but upgrading to a 5er @ not more than 15000lbs. Thoughts? Both trucks r Ram's with the 6.7 Cummings I6 6 speed auto.
I have a 2010 1500 Ram Sport, when we're on summer leave, we weigh in right at around 8000lbs, the only problem is having to stop every 2.5hrs for gas.
A SRW 3500 will be more than enough for payload, my concerns are having to replace 6 tires vice 4 tires, I'm not the standard all season kinda guy for tires. There's also the extra fuel cost when we're not towing.
